Hat-trick hero Obaje praises Wikki teammates

Image result for Wikki TouristThe striker rose to the summit of the NPFL scorer's chart, but was quick to praise his teammates following the win over Shooting Stars
Having scored a hat-trick against Shooting Stars, Wikki Tourists’ goal machine Godwin Obaje refused to take all the credit for his side's emphatic win on match day 17.
The striker delivered a match-winning display as he netted a treble in Wikki’s 4-0 annihilation of the Oluyole Warriors at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium on Sunday.
He became the first player to reach double figures this season as he increased his tally to 11 goals.
"It feels good to score a hat-trick. This ball [the match ball he took as a souvenir] will go in my house but all my team-mates are going to sign it because it was a team-effort, not just mine," Obaje told Goal.
"Some people think scoring goals is a striker’s only job but I’m not obsessed with scoring; that’s a consequence of the team’s work.
"I’m very happy. What we can take from this is the performance from the whole team. We didn’t concede any goals and we had a bit of luck too compared to last Wednesday [against Rivers United].
