Buhari appoints ex-Benue Commissioner as NCPC boss
According to a statement by the Assistant Director (Press) in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Mohammed Nakorji, on Tuesday, the appointment takes immediate effect and is for a period of five years.
Uja, former chairman, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from University of Lagos in 1981.
He obtained Master’s Degree in International Relations and Strategic Studies from University of Jos in 1987.
Uja, who resumed office on Monday, is a former Commissioner of Commerce and Industries and Commissioner of Information and Social Development in Benue.
Buhari had fired the immediate-past Executive Secretary of the NCPC, Kennedy Opara, on Friday.
