Lobi more important than my goals, insists Okpotu

The forward has pointed out that the success of his club is more important to him than individual glory

   Anthony Okpotu has been a key figure in coach Godwin Uwua's team this season and has scored some vital goals in the team's 2016 Nigeria Professional Football League campaign. 
Despite being the league's top goal scorer, Okpotu is not taking any of the credit for the side’s good form in the top flight. 
He says that they play as a team and wants to contribute to their success, whether by scoring or setting his teammates up.
"What is important is for Lobi Stars to win games and fight for a continental ticket. It is not about me scoring. It is about the team winning. We play together as a team and no matter who scores we celebrate together if we win," Okpotu told Goal.

"That's the most important thing in the team. We will continue fighting until we achieve our main objective. It won't be easy but as a team we will manage together."

Lobi Stars' next outing is against Wikki Tourists, who are third on the NPFL table, one point above the Pride of Benue.
