 If you’re being panel beaten, run – Kate Henshaw urges women

Kate Henshaw-Nutall, has urged women who are in abusive relationships and tolerating domestic violence, to run for their lives.
The divorced actress who is known for her advocacy for women’s right, waded into the death of the Lagos-based banker, Ronke Shone, who was allegedly beaten to death by her husband, Lekan.
The actress cum politician, on her Twitter handle @HenshawKate, stressed on the need for a constantly abused woman to run for cover.
She tweeted: “I really don’t care what you say or think of me. Run for cover. Save yourself first…if you are in an abusive relationship. Thank me later.
“Abuse is not only physical. Emotional, psychological, mental are other forms of abuse. God created you to show forth His glory.
“Find the courage to get on your knees to pray to God to strengthen you. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.
“Domestic violence, rape, child abuse are too rampant in our society these days. No value for human life. You are not a chicken before you will be beaten to death.
“If you are being panel beaten in your relationship, you are the wrong object. Run!!!,”
