The Islamic State (IS) group claimed responsibility for the deadly attack on a Moscow music hall, and Russian officials have accused the West and Ukraine of being complicit. Russia's "lies" have been denied by Ukraine, and the scenario is less likely now that Russia has been informed by the US fifteen days in advance of an impending strike. IS has released video of the tragedy, but Vladimir Putin and two close allies claim that Western and Ukrainian intelligence assisted the extremists. Four armed men broke into the Crocus City Hall music complex on Friday night, reportedly killing 139 people, according to Russia. According to officials, 22 more people—including two children—remain in a severe condition. Four Tajikistani nationals have shown up in court on charges of carrying out the massacre.
