What friendlies are Manchester United playing this summer?

  Manchester United are ready to embark on their next stage of preparation for season 2016-17, with Saturday's trip to Wigan Athletic marking the first of their pre-season friendlies under new manager Jose Mourinho.
  United's players have been making their way back from their summer breaks since July 4, and they face five pre-season fixtures in the space of 18 days including a testimonial for Wayne Rooney against Everton 12 years on from his £25 million transfer from the Merseyside club.

The Red Devils' summer campaign was originally scheduled for just three games by former manager Louis van Gaal, but Mourinho added the matches against Wigan and Galatasaray.
