Saraki reads Osinbajo’s letter
Senate President, Bukola Saraki, on Thursday(July 14), finally read a letter
by the Vice-President, Yemi Osinbajo, and sent to the senate over three
weeks ago, seeking the confirmation of the federal lawmakers, for the
appointment of Mr. Ibrahim Magu as chairman of the Economic and
Financial Crimes Commission.
The letter, which was written by Osinbajo on June 17 when he was Acting president while President Muhammadu Buhari travelled abroad on medical leave, also sought the lawmakers’ approval for the appointment of Ndasule Moses, Lawan Mamman, Galandanci Imam Najib, and Adeleke Abebayo Rafiu, as members of the EFCC board.
