Mob drowns Policeman in Kashmir violence

Kashmiri protestors clash with Indian police in Srinagar At least 20 people were killed in Kashmir violence over the weekend in India.
Among those killed was a policeman who drowned when he was trapped in an armoured vehicle after it was pushed into a river by angry protesters.
Most of the 19 civilians who died were young men under the age of 26 from southern Kashmir.
Indian authorities are struggling to contain protests by tens of thousands of Kashmiris angry after a senior anti-India rebel leader, Burhan Wani, was killed by troops on Friday(July 8).
Troops and Police patrolled Villages and towns in Himalayan region after a stringent curfew was put in force three days ago.
