Eko DISCO decries increased vandalisation of equipment

The management of Eko Electricity Distribution Company on Saturday(Dec 3) decried the increase in the vandalisation of its equipment.

A statement by Mr Godwin Idemudia, the company’s Head of Corporate Communications in Lagos, said the incidence was incapacitating the company from discharging its services  to its consumers.
“On Nov.16, a uniformed man with the assistance of some Community Development Area members at Muritala Muhammad Way, Ebute Meta, Yaba, arrested a cable vandal.
The company’s legal department would ensure that the culprits were not left off the hook, but prosecuted alongside their buyers.
It, however, warned consumers within the network to protect all the company’s installation within their area.
